BACKGROUND DATA Airstron,
Inc. was established in April of 1985, by two very active local principal
owners, James M. Pascucci and Lawrence H. Hayes. Both owners believe in active participation
of the total company operation, both in the field and in the office. Each has successfully completed the required
5 year apprenticeship training program from Local Union 725, each possesses
Dade and Broward Journeyman cards, each has successfully completed the Air
Conditioning Engineers Certification Program and both possess State of
In June of 1992 Mr. Pascucci and Mr. Hayes purchased S & S Air Conditioning Co., this company was established in 1957 with over 35 years of customer service and experience, which they still own and operate today. Their philosophy of total hands on management has enabled both companies to flourish and grow.
PERSONNEL: Airstron is a member of the Mechanical Contractors Association and employs technicians from Local Union 725, L.U. 719 and L.U. 630. All technicians are required to successfully attend and complete the very extensive 5 year apprenticeship training program. Additional schooling provided by the various equipment manufacturers is highly promoted by our firm to keep our personnel in stride with our ever changing industry and new technologies.
All technicians must successfully acquire a Dade and Broward Journeyman General License; all technicians must successfully complete and possess a CFC Universal Refrigerant License for proper handling of refrigerants.
SERVICE DEPARTMENT: Airstron, Inc. employs approximately 180 full time, year round employees of which 87 are union trained with a service fleet of 100 fully stocked vehicles, with over 300 commercial/industrial service contracts. A 2-3 hour response time is guaranteed.
DUCT
DEPARTMENT: Airstron,
Inc. owns its own total staffed duct company capable of performing all size
projects, including fiberglass, sheet metal and stainless steel.
CONSTRUCTION AND
RETROFIT DEPARTMENT: Airstron, Inc. employs a nucleus of approximately 60 qualified men with the ability through our Local Union to add and delete men as needed depending on work loads and job schedules for new installations and retrofit projects. Airstron has a state of the art software program capable of tracking, scheduling and performing seamlessly.
